Andris Vēzis is one of the leading and most well known Latvian artists who works in porcelain. There are new objects displayed in his exhibition TALES OF THE GRAY STONE. Artist is mainly occupied by the technological challenges and delves on the interaction of color and texture in order to emphasize their expressiveness. Through the gray tone he seeks to open the world of red, blue, yellow and other colors that together with glazed and frosted surface textures form a vibrant interplay.
