Sculptor Viktors Kosenko works in such traditional materials as metal and stone and uses also a less widespread material for sculpturing – a porcelain. A considerable amount of his works are done in this material. The artists is interested in the technical capacity of porcelain, as well as in its producing process and plastic possibilities.
As a perfectionist Kosenko likes an order which can be clearly seen in his well considered and accurate compositions that are carried out perfectly. His main goal always has been an aesthetic value of objects and the most popular motifs are those of portraits and animals.
There will be works from 1980's and 1990's on display in this exhibition. That was a period of time when Kosenko was the most active in working with porcelain.
