Āris Segliņš is one of the most significant contemporary designers in Latvia who works also in porcelain. There are designed objects that were created for industrial production in 1980's, when artist worked at Riga Porcelain Fabric, displayed in the exhibition. These objects reflects the ideas of constructivism school and has been influenced by Scandinavian and Japanese design, but has never been actually produced. The main question 'whether design is or isn't an art' inspires the discussion on boundaries of art in the contemporary context.
