From January 29 to 22 March solo exhibition “The White Footprints” by artist Elīna Titāne will be held at Riga Porcelain Museum.
The exhibition “The White Footprints” at Riga Porcelain Museum reflects artist Elīna Titāne’s work in porcelain done over recent six years and among other pieces includes the work that is topical and has just been finished. The exhibition is intended as a conclusion event to a creative period and represents the main creative trends and development that has taken place over the years.
Elīna Titāne is one of the most outstanding and best known young generation artists in the modern ceramics of Latvia and has proved her talent and high professional competence in noteworthy exhibitions and international symposia. The artist has developed a convincing and recognizable handwriting – elegant pieces of openwork which, on the one hand, create associations with nature shapes, however, on the other, thanks to their conceptual profoundness and contemplative character, carry powerful ideas and intellectual weight.
A meeting with Elīna Titāne within the cycle “Speaking is the Artist” will take place on 27 February at 17.00.
